REFUGEE AID INITIATIVE
As the number of refugees arriving in Germany reached unprecedented levels, Deutsche Post DHL created a response project in a very short timeframe. It quickly achieved the aim of engaging volunteer employees in hundreds of community-based activities to help the refugees. These include housing, vocational and language training, and internships. The company sees this as a natural extension of its Corporate Citizenship engagement, a global strategy recognising the scale and reach of the brand.
