<p>The MCA acts as a forum for information share and joint initiatives to enable it&#8217;s membership to work together to secure and develop the future of the mail consolidation industry. In meeting the following aims and objectives the MCA seeks to encourage growth and profitability of the industry.

        <p><a href="http://www.psc.gov.uk/">Postcomm</a> - the Postal Services &nbsp;  Commission - is an independent regulator. It was created by the Postal &nbsp;  Services Act 2000 to further the interests of users of postal services.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.dma.org.uk/">Direct &nbsp;  Marketing Association</a>&nbsp; - The DMA (UK) is the core trade &nbsp;  organisation for all companies in direct marketing in the UK. Formed in 1992,&nbsp;   the DMA&#8217;s aim is to promote and protect the direct marketing industry. Member &nbsp;  includes advertisers from a broad range of business sectors, direct marketing &nbsp;  and telemarketing agencies, and service suppliers from printers and mailing &nbsp;  houses to list brokers and database consultancies. </p>
<p><a href="http://www.ppa.co.uk/cgi-bin/wms.pl/1127">IMDAS</a> - The International Mail Distribution Accreditation Scheme (IMDAS) is a quality 
standard, specifically developed to test the procedures and processes of 
international mail distribution. The scheme was commissioned by PPA, and has been designed by clients in conjunction with the Mail Consolidators Association (MCA). </p>
<p><a href="http://www.ipc.be/index.php?option=com_frontpage&amp;Itemid=28">The International Post Corporation</a> (<em>IPC</em>) is a non-lobbying cooperative association of 23 member postal operators in Europe, North America and Asia- Pacific.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.ofcom.org.uk/">Ofcom</a> - The independent regulator and competition authority for the UK communications industries</p>
<p><a href="http://www.adassoc.org.uk/">Advertising &nbsp;  Association</a> - The Advertising Association is a federation of trade &nbsp;  associations and professional bodies representing advertisers, agencies, the &nbsp;  media and support services.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.fedma.org/">The Federation &nbsp;  of European Direct Marketing</a> - was created in 1997 as a result &nbsp;  of the merger between EDMA (est. 1976) and FEDIM (est. 1992). FEDMA is the &nbsp;  single voice of the European direct marketing industry.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.ppa.co.uk/">Periodical &nbsp;  Publishers Association</a> - PPA is the organisation of magazine and &nbsp;  periodical publishers in the UK, and is a member of FIPP and FAEP. Our role &nbsp;  is to promote and protect the interests of the magazine publishing industry.&nbsp;   We have around 200 members publishing some 1,600 titles, which account for 80 &nbsp;  per cent by volume and value of the magazine publishing industry. Member &nbsp;  publishers span all ranges of magazines and periodicals - consumer, consumer &nbsp;  specialist and business and professional.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.apa.co.uk/">Association of &nbsp;  Publishing Agencies (APA)</a> - APA is the representative body for customer &nbsp;  magazine publishers, formed in the UK, under the umbrella of PPA.&nbsp;</p>
<p><a href="http://www.bpaww.com/">BPA Worldwide</a> - the global  industry resource for verified audience data and media knowledge. In more than 20 countries, BPA delivers consumer and business media  audits of unsurpassed rigor, objectivity, accuracy, transparency and timeliness&mdash;audits that  provide solid assurance for both media owners and media buyers.</p>
